Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Unrated LLC collects through reknock.com and ReKnock, why, who sees it, and what you can do about it.
Effective September 7, 2026
1. Who this policy covers
It covers visitors to reknock.com, people who ask for access, people with a ReKnock account, and homeowners whose information a ReKnock customer uploads or who are called or texted through ReKnock.
For homeowners, the ReKnock customer (the dealer) decides why your information is processed and is the business or controller; Unrated LLC processes it on the dealer's behalf as a service provider or processor. The Data Processing and Retention page describes that relationship.
2. What we collect
We collect information you give us, information our customers give us about you, and information the service records as it runs.
- From visitors and applicants: name, company, email, phone, the states you sell in and the size of your list, when you ask for access.
- From account holders: name, email, role, organization, sign-in events, the pages you use, the campaigns, scripts and settings you create, and billing details held by our payment processor (we never see your full card number).
- About homeowners, from our customers: name, phone numbers, address, email, utility and any custom fields in the uploaded list.
- From calls and texts: call logs, recordings, transcripts, answering-machine results, the AI agent's notes and captured answers, appointment details, and iMessage or SMS threads.
- From your browser: IP address, browser and device type, and the cookies described below.
3. How we use it
We use personal information to provide and operate ReKnock; to place and record calls and send transactional messages on our customers' behalf; to book and dispatch appointments; to show managers their teams' results; to bill; to prevent fraud, abuse and number-reputation damage; to comply with the law and with carrier rules; to answer you when you write to us; and to improve the service, including its conversational model, using data that does not identify a homeowner or a customer.
6. How long we keep it
Account and customer data for the life of the account plus 90 days. Call recordings and transcripts for 12 months on a rolling basis. Access requests for 24 months. Backups for up to 30 days beyond deletion. Billing records for as long as tax law requires. The Data Processing and Retention page has the full schedule.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Every record that holds customer or homeowner data is bound to one organization by access controls enforced at the storage layer, so one dealer's data cannot be read by another dealer's account even through our own application. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run them. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot promise that yours will never be breached; if it is, we will tell affected customers as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
Homeowners: to stop calls, tell the agent or the dealer, or write to us at hello@reknock.com with the number; we will place it on our do-not-call list for every customer. To stop texts, reply STOP. To ask what a dealer holds about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact the dealer; if you contact us we will pass your request to them and help them answer it.
Account holders: you can see and change your profile in the console and export your lists and results. To close your account or delete your data, write to hello@reknock.com.
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, to know, access, correct and delete personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information. To exercise a right, email hello@reknock.com with "privacy request" in the subject; we will verify your identity and answer within 45 days. You may appeal our decision by replying to it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
9. Children
ReKnock is a business tool. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Our customers agree not to upload minors' numbers. If you believe we hold a minor's information, tell us and we will delete it.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the effective date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced in the console. Questions go to hello@reknock.com. Unrated LLC is the entity responsible for this policy.
